It can be hard to find the cost of paintball when planning your party. We’d like to take a moment to help answer your questions. This page will address the question and some items to look for.
Not only is the question “how much should paintball cost?” but also “what should I be getting for that cost?”
For a decent rental package, you should expect to spend about $40. Below are items to look for, and questions to ask:
Safety/protection: Does this package come with a thermal mask? A thermal mask will be far more fog resistant.
Paintballs: How many paintballs come with this package? Most players will use about 150 paintballs per hour. Look for 500 paintballs
Air Fills: Does this package include air fills? Air is needed to power the markers, and will need to be refilled.
Compressed Air or CO2: Do you use Air or CO2? Simply put, Air is more consistent and much safer. CO2 can result in higher velocity with temperature change
Referee: Does this package come with a dedicated referee? You’ll want a ref to make sure things go smoothly

Paintballs generally range from $15 – $30 per 500 round bag, and $50-75 per 2000 round case.
