At Precision Paintball, we do require deposits to make a reservation. This allows us to properly forecast our parties and groups, and make sure we have what we need to serve them.
We have received some questions about how our deposits work, and wanted to communicate how we handle deposits.
Essentially, we require $20 per player to secure a reservation for your party or group. This deposit is a down payment, and counts towards your party total. At Precision Paintball, the deposit floats. This means that if you deposit $200 for 10 players to play Traditional Paintball, and you have 8 players on the day of the event, we take the total of numbers you actually have (8) and multiply by the price ($40) each, and subtract the deposit. In this situation, the balance on the day of would be $120 (8x$40=$320. $320-$200=$120). The same method would be used if you have more players on the day of your party.
Sometimes, deposits are tough due to everyone in your group planning to pay separately
We understand that things can get a bit more complicated if everyone is paying separately. Ideally, you would still be able to collect some money from your players and place the regular deposit. If that’s proving to be difficult, we’d recommend making the reservation for the minimum number of players (6), and letting us know in the notes (a) how many players you plan on having, and (b) that everyone is paying separate. This way, you only need to deposit $120, and you’re not on the hook for a few hundred dollars.
